This resource manual was designed to help priests and diocesan leaders establish and strengthen diocesan abortion healing ministry under the authority and guidance of their bishop.
The 2024 edition provides minor updates to statistics and terminology throughout the text, a new and revised forward, updated sections on canon law and recommended resources, as well as Pope Francis’ words for women who have had abortions.
The manual is also available online. Diocesan leaders may download and print copies for use by priests and all others entrusted with abortion healing ministry in a diocese.
